After twelve years of service in the long term care and assisted living businesses and in real estate development, Don Rankey founded HomeLife Companies, Inc. HomeLife Companies, Inc. owns and operates retirement communities across the United States. Don has served as its CEO since 1991.
He has served on committees such as the National Housing and Services Committee and the National Development Task Force for the Leading Age in Washington, DC. He has also served on the Delaware City Council, Delaware Airport commission, Delaware City Finance Committee, Delaware City Parks and Recreation Commission, Balance Growth Task Force, Delaware County Community Improvement Corporation, and the Delaware County Finance Authority.
Don earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Capital University.
